J.Bartels, M.G.Ryskin

TL;DR
This paper investigates the small-x behavior of the nonsinglet polarized structure function g_2 in perturbative QCD, revealing a power-like growth and analyzing its relation to the Wandzura-Wilczek relation.
Contribution
It provides a new analysis of g_2 at small x using double logarithmic approximation, including both signature contributions and their implications.
Findings
g_2(x,Q^2) exhibits power-like growth as x approaches zero
Both positive and negative signature contributions are significant
The results are discussed in the context of the Wandzura-Wilczek relation
Abstract
The nonsinglet spin dependent structure function is studied at small x within the double logarithmic approximation of perturbative QCD. Both positive and negative signature contributions are considered, and we find a power-like growth in . We discuss how our result fits into the Wandzura-Wilczek relation.
