Constituent Quarkstructur and $F^{p}_{2}$ Data
Firooz Arash, Ali Naghi Khorramian

TL;DR
This paper calculates the partonic structure of a constituent quark at leading order in QCD and compares it with HERA data, highlighting the need to include gluonic components for finer accuracy.
Contribution
First calculation of constituent quark structure in leading order QCD and its application to proton structure functions with implications for gluonic contributions.
Findings
Qualitative agreement with $F_2^p$ data across wide kinematic range
Identification of the need for an inherent gluon component
Good fit to experimental data over $x$ and $Q^2$ ranges
Abstract
We have calculated the partonic structure of a constituent quark in the leading order in QCD for the first time and examined its ipmlications on the proton structure function, F_{2}(x,Q^{2})x=[10^{-6} ,1]Q^{2}=[0.5, 5000]GeV^{2}$ is reached. {\bf{PACS Numbers 13.60 Hb, 12.39.-x, 13.88 +e, 12.20.Fv}}
