TL;DR
This paper proposes a comprehensive four-neutrino oscillation model including decay, synthesizing existing data and suggesting future experimental tests for the model's validity.
Contribution
It introduces a novel four-neutrino oscillation framework with decay, integrating all current data and exploring testable predictions.
Findings
Consistent explanation of neutrino disappearance and appearance data
Inclusion of neutrino decay into a Majoron as a novel aspect
Proposals for experimental verification of the decay scenario
Abstract
We present a new and novel synthesis of all existing neutrino data regarding the disappearance and appearance of and . We assume four neutrinos: , as well as a heavier singlet neutrino of a few eV. The latter may decay into a massless Goldstone boson (the singlet Majoron) and a linear combination of the doublet antineutrinos. We comment on how this scenario may be verified or falsified in future experiments.
