Complete Renormalization Group Improvement- Avoiding Scale Dependence in QCD Predictions
C.J. Maxwell (Centre for Particle Theory, University of Durham,, Durham, England)

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that by resumming all ultraviolet logarithms involving the physical energy scale Q, one can eliminate the dependence on arbitrary renormalization scheme parameters in perturbative QCD predictions.
Contribution
It introduces a method to remove scale dependence in QCD calculations through complete resummation of ultraviolet logarithms.
Findings
Scale dependence is eliminated in QCD predictions.
Resummation of ultraviolet logs improves prediction stability.
Method applicable to various perturbative QCD calculations.
Abstract
We show that dimensionful renormalization scheme parameters such as the renormalization or factorization scale can be completely eliminated from perturbative QCD predictions provided that all the ultraviolet logarithms involving the physical energy scale Q are completely resummed.
