Matching Heavy Particle Approach to Relativistic Theory
J. Gegelia, G. Japaridze

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that the heavy particle approach in chiral perturbation theory accurately reproduces relativistic results for a model with massless and heavy scalar fields, confirmed through explicit two-loop calculations.
Contribution
It shows that heavy baryon chiral perturbation theory aligns with relativistic theory in a simple scalar field model, including complex two-loop diagrams.
Findings
Heavy baryon chiral perturbation theory reproduces relativistic results.
Explicit two-loop calculations confirm the approach's validity.
The technique is effective for models with massless and heavy scalar fields.
Abstract
On the simple model of interacting massless and heavy scalar fields it is demonstrated that the technique of heavy baryon chiral perturbation theory reproduces the results of relativistic theory. Explicit calculations are performed for diagrams including two-loops.
