Models for Photon-photon Total Cross-sections
R.M. Godbole, A. Grau, G. Pancheri

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent theoretical models for photon-photon total cross-sections into hadrons, emphasizing the eikonal minijet model and the impact of soft gluon summation on predictions.
Contribution
It provides a detailed comparison of models for photon-photon cross-sections, highlighting the effects of soft gluon summation within the eikonal minijet framework.
Findings
Eikonal minijet model effectively describes photon-photon cross-sections.
Soft gluon summation influences the model predictions significantly.
Comparison shows improved agreement with experimental data.
Abstract
We present here a brief overview of recent models describing the photon-photon cross-section into hadrons. We shall show in detail results from the eikonal minijet model, with and without soft gluon summation.
