TL;DR
This paper investigates the sea quark content of the + baryon using a light-cone fluctuation model, revealing significant flavor and quark-antiquark asymmetries that differ from SU(3) predictions.
Contribution
It introduces a model-based analysis of + sea quark asymmetries, providing predictions that challenge traditional SU(3) symmetry expectations.
Findings
+ sea is flavor asymmetric (bar > ar > ar)
Predicted asymmetries differ from SU(3) predictions
+ d-bar asymmetry aligns with SU(3)
Abstract
The sea quark content of the baryon is investigated using light-cone baryon-meson fluctuation model suggested by Brodsky and Ma. It is found that the sea is flavour asymmetric () and quark-antiquark asymmetric (). Our prediction for the flavour asymmetry, , is significantly different from the SU(3) prediction (), while our prediction for the - asymmetry is consistent with the SU(3) prediction.
