TL;DR
This paper investigates how unlinearized media influence collective excitations in quark-gluon plasma, revealing two types of non-Abelian oscillations with distinct nonlinear couplings and frequency shifts.
Contribution
It introduces two non-Abelian oscillation solutions in quark-gluon plasma, highlighting differences between weakly and strongly nonlinear couplings and their effects on frequencies.
Findings
Identification of two non-Abelian oscillation types
Weakly nonlinear solution resembles Abelian oscillation with frequency shift
Frequency shift is of order g^2 T
Abstract
We study the effect of unlinearized medium on the collective excitations in quark-gluon plasma. We present two kinds of non-Abelian oscillation solutions which respectively correspond to weakly and strongly nonlinear coupling of field components in color space. We also show that the weakly nonlinear solution is similar to Abelian-like one but has the frequency shift, which is of order , from eigenfrequency.
