Study of polarized gluon distributions in diffractive reactions at HERA
S.V.Goloskokov

TL;DR
This paper investigates how spin asymmetries in diffractive leptoproduction processes at HERA can reveal the spin structure of the pomeron-proton coupling, highlighting the suitability of the $A_{lT}$ asymmetry for such studies.
Contribution
It demonstrates that the $A_{lT}$ asymmetry is a promising observable for probing the spin structure of the pomeron-proton interaction, which is difficult to access via $A_{ll}$ asymmetry.
Findings
$A_{ll}$ asymmetry is not suitable for studying the pomeron's spin structure.
$A_{lT}$ asymmetry provides a viable method for this investigation.
The structure of the pomeron-proton coupling influences spin asymmetries in diffractive reactions.
Abstract
We consider the dependencies of spin asymmetries in the diffractive and leptoproduction at HERA energies on the structure of the pomeron-proton coupling. It is shown that it is difficult to study the spin structure of the pomeron coupling with the proton from the asymmetry. The asymmetry is an appropriate object for this investigation.
