TL;DR
This paper revisits the QCD sum rule approach to calculate the magnetic moment of the $ ext{Omega}^-$ baryon, confirming experimental values by using updated condensate parameters fitted from known magnetic moments.
Contribution
The study refines the QCD sum rule method for magnetic moments by fitting condensate parameters to known baryon magnetic moments, achieving better agreement with experimental data.
Findings
Confirmed the experimental magnetic moment of $ ext{Omega}^-$
Achieved agreement for $ ext{Delta}^{++}$ magnetic moment
Validated the QCDSR approach with updated parameters
Abstract
The magnetic moment was measured very accurately and experimentalists remarked that it differs from the theoretical estimates, thus posing a challenge to the latter. One such estimation uses QCDSR. We revisit this sumrule method, using condensate parameters which were obtained from fitting the differences (), () and () and confirm the experimental number. The is also found to agree with the experimental estimate.
