QED Radiative Effects in Diffractive Vector Meson Electro- and Photoproduction at HERA Energies
I.Akushevich

TL;DR
This paper calculates QED radiative corrections to the cross section of diffractive vector meson production at HERA energies, comparing semi-analytical and Monte Carlo methods.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed comparison of semi-analytical and Monte Carlo approaches for QED radiative corrections in this context.
Findings
QED radiative corrections significantly affect cross section measurements.
Semi-analytical and Monte Carlo methods show good agreement.
Results improve the accuracy of diffractive vector meson production analysis.
Abstract
QED radiative corrections to the cross section of diffractive electro- and photoproduction of vector mesons is calculated at HERA energies. Both semi-analytical and Monte Carlo approaches are discussed and compared.
