FCNC and non-standard soft-breaking terms in weak-scale Supersymmetry
J. Lorenzo Diaz-Cruz (IFUAP)

TL;DR
This paper investigates how non-standard soft-breaking terms in weak-scale supersymmetry affect flavor violation, FCNC processes, and CP violation, providing bounds based on current data and analyzing implications for top quark decays.
Contribution
It introduces non-standard soft-breaking terms into the minimal SUSY model and evaluates their impact on flavor violation, FCNC decays, and CP violation, which was not extensively studied before.
Findings
Bounds on new soft parameters from current data
Enhanced FCNC top decay rate t -> c + hi
Implications for CP violation with complex soft parameters
Abstract
We study the inclusion of non-standard soft-breaking terms in the minimal SUSY extension of the SM, considering it as a model of weak-scale SUSY. These terms modify the sfermion mass matrices, which can induce new sources of flavour violation. Bounds on the new soft parameters can be estimated from current data. The results are then applied to evaluate FCNC top decay t -> c + hi (hi= h,H,A). Implications of complex soft parameters for CP violation are also addressed.
