Factorization and Nonfactorization in B Decays
F. M. Al-Shamali, A. N. Kamal

TL;DR
This paper estimates nonfactorizable effects in two-body hadronic B decays using NLL Wilson coefficients and penguin diagrams, exploring model dependence and supporting universality across decay types.
Contribution
It introduces a comprehensive analysis of nonfactorization in B decays, incorporating penguin contributions and examining model dependence of form factors.
Findings
Nonfactorization contributions are universal across decay modes.
Penguin diagrams significantly affect nonfactorizable effects.
Results are consistent across different form factor models.
Abstract
Using NLL values for Wilson coefficients and including the contributions from the penguin diagrams, we estimate the amount of nonfactorization in two-body hadronic B decays. Also, we investigate the model dependence of the nonfactorization parameters by performing the calculation using different models for the form factors. The results support the universality of nonfactorizable contributions in both Cabibbo-favored and Cabibbo-suppressed B decays.
