1/Q^2 corrections in DIS fragmentation functions
M.Dasgupta, G.E. Smye

TL;DR
This paper calculates power corrections to single-hadron momentum distributions in deep inelastic scattering, highlighting the dominance of singlet contributions in the HERA kinematic region.
Contribution
It provides new calculations of 1/Q^2 power corrections to fragmentation functions in DIS, focusing on both singlet and non-singlet contributions with emphasis on the dominant singlet term.
Findings
Singlet contributions dominate in the studied kinematic region.
Power corrections significantly affect the fragmentation functions.
Results are relevant for interpreting HERA data.
Abstract
We present results of recent calculations of power corrections to single-hadron inclusive momentum distributions in the current hemisphere of the Breit frame in DIS. Though results are presented for both singlet and non-singlet scattering contributions, we emphasise the fact that the former is dominant in the kinematical region studied at HERA.
