TL;DR
This paper discusses the intrinsic transverse momentum distribution of gluons in the pomeron within QCD, highlighting its potential impact on diffractive jet analysis and proposing experimental methods for its measurement.
Contribution
It introduces the concept of broad intrinsic $k_{ot}$ distribution of gluons in the pomeron and its omission in current Monte Carlo generators, suggesting this bias affects gluon content measurements.
Findings
Gluons in the pomeron have a soft $z_g$ distribution.
The intrinsic $k_{ot}$ distribution is very broad.
Bias in jet analysis may lead to overestimation of gluon content.
Abstract
In a consistent QCD approach to diffractive DIS gluons in the pomeron have soft distribution and very broad intrinsic distribution. The latter has not yet been incorporated into diffractive Monte-Carlo generators (RAPGAP,....). I argue that the so-introduced bias in the diffractive jet analysis may be the reason why H1 Collaboration finds the very large and hard gluon content of the pomeron. I discuss possible direct experimental determinations of intrinsic in the pomeron.
