CCFM prediction for F_2 and forward jets at HERA
H. Jung (Lund)

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that the CCFM evolution equation, implemented via a modified Monte Carlo program, can accurately predict F_2 and forward jet data at HERA energies, highlighting the importance of the non-Sudakov form factor and consistency constraint.
Contribution
It presents the first successful description of F_2 and forward jet data at HERA using the CCFM evolution equation with a modified Monte Carlo approach.
Findings
Good agreement with F_2 data
Accurate forward jet predictions
Impact of non-Sudakov form factor and constraints
Abstract
Predictions of the CCFM evolution equation for F_2 and forward jets at HERA energies are obtained from a modified version of the Monte Carlo program SMALLX. The treatment of the non-Sudakov form factor is discussed as well as the effect of the so called "consistency constraint". For the first time a good description of F_2 and the forward jet data is obtained from the CCFM equation.
