M. Boglione, P.J. Mulders

TL;DR
This paper estimates T-odd distribution and fragmentation functions using experimental data from polarized proton-proton scattering and predicts azimuthal asymmetries in polarized electron-proton interactions.
Contribution
It provides the first estimates of $H_1^ot$ and $f_{1T}^{ot}$ based on experimental data and makes predictions for related azimuthal asymmetries.
Findings
Estimated $H_1^ot$ and $f_{1T}^{ot}$ functions from data
Predicted azimuthal asymmetries in electron-proton scattering
Demonstrated the relevance of T-odd functions in spin asymmetry phenomena
Abstract
Estimates of the T-odd fragmentation and distribution functions, and , are presented. Our evaluations are based on a fit on experimental data of polarized proton-proton scattering. We use our estimates to make predictions for electron polarized-proton azimuthal asymmetries.
