A QCD analysis of HERA and fixed target structure function data
M. Botje

TL;DR
This paper performs a next-to-leading order QCD analysis of structure function data from HERA and fixed target experiments to determine proton parton densities, estimate uncertainties, and compare Standard Model predictions with recent ZEUS data.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive NLO QCD analysis incorporating all experimental correlations to extract proton parton densities and compare predictions with recent experimental results.
Findings
Parton densities with quantified uncertainties
Standard Model predictions align with ZEUS data at large x and Q2
Enhanced understanding of proton structure from combined data sets
Abstract
The parton momentum densities in the proton are obtained from a NLO QCD analysis of structure functions measured by HERA and fixed target experiments. The uncertainties in these parton densities, the structure functions and related cross sections are estimated from the experimental errors, taking into account all correlations. Standard Model predictions for the charged current Born cross sections at large x and Q2 are calculated and compared with recent data from ZEUS.
