Steps towards NNLO QCD calculations: collinear factorization at O(\alpha_S^2)
M. Grazzini

TL;DR
This paper investigates the singular behavior of tree-level QCD amplitudes in the collinear limit involving three partons, deriving a universal factorization formula to understand these singularities at NNLO accuracy.
Contribution
It introduces a universal factorization formula for triple-collinear singularities in tree-level QCD amplitudes, advancing the understanding of NNLO QCD calculations.
Findings
Derived the universal collinear factorization formula for three-parton limits.
Enhanced the theoretical framework for NNLO QCD computations.
Clarified the structure of singularities in multiparton amplitudes.
Abstract
I consider the singular behaviour of tree-level QCD amplitudes when the momenta of three partons become simultaneously parallel and I discuss the universal factorization formula that controls the singularities of the multiparton matrix elements in this collinear limit.
