TL;DR
This paper introduces a new, simple parametrization for heavy-to-light decay form factors that aligns with theoretical scaling laws and matches lattice and QCD sum rule data.
Contribution
It presents a novel parametrization method for form factors in heavy-to-light decays that avoids explicit dipole forms and satisfies heavy quark scaling laws.
Findings
The parametrization fits lattice data for B -> pi decays.
The shape agrees with QCD sum rule predictions.
It simplifies the modeling of heavy-to-light form factors.
Abstract
We propose a simple parametrization for the form factors in heavy to light decays which satisfies the heavy quark scaling laws and avoids introducing the explicit "dipole" form. The illustration is provided on the set of lattice data for B -> pi, semileptonic decay. The resulting shape of the form factor also agrees with the QCD sum rule predictions.
