Gluelump Spectrum in the Bag Model
Gabriel Karl, Jack Paton

TL;DR
This paper investigates the energy spectrum of gluelumps and hybrid potentials within a simple bag model framework, providing insights into their ordering and behavior at small quark-antiquark separations.
Contribution
It introduces a bag model approach to analyze the ordering of gluelump energy levels and hybrid potentials at small quark-antiquark distances, extending previous models.
Findings
Determines the ordering of lowest gluelump levels.
Analyzes hybrid potentials at small quark-antiquark spacing.
Provides a simplified model for complex QCD phenomena.
Abstract
We explore the ordering of the lowest levels in a simple bag model of the ``gluelump'' of Michael and also discuss, again within the context of the bag model, the related problem of hybrid potentials in the limit of very small spacing between quark and anti-quark sources.
