TL;DR
This paper introduces a new regularization method for calculating anomalous amplitudes in pion decay, ensuring consistency with existing methods and simplifying calculations involving gamma_5 matrices.
Contribution
It presents an implicit four-dimensional regularization technique that aligns with Dimensional Regularization results and simplifies computations with odd gamma_5 matrices.
Findings
The method reproduces known anomalous amplitudes accurately.
It simplifies calculations involving gamma_5 matrices.
The technique is applicable to processes with odd numbers of gamma_5.
Abstract
An implicit four dimensional regularization is applied to calculate the axial-vector-vector anomalous amplitude. The present technique always complies with results of Dimensional Regularization and can be easily applied to processes involving odd numbers of matrices. This is illustrated explicitely in the example of this letter.
