M.A. Ivanov, P. Santorelli

TL;DR
This paper uses a relativistic quark model to comprehensively describe leptonic and semileptonic decays of pseudoscalar mesons, achieving good agreement with experimental data and theoretical symmetries.
Contribution
It provides a unified theoretical framework for meson decays that aligns well with experimental results and reproduces heavy quark symmetry.
Findings
Leptonic decay constants match experimental data
Form factors agree with other theoretical approaches
Reproduces spin-flavor symmetry in heavy quark limit
Abstract
We employ the relativistic constituent quark model to give a unified description of the leptonic and semileptonic decays of pseudoscalar mesons (\pi, K, D, D_s, B, B_s). The calculated leptonic decay constants and form factors are found to be in good agreement with available experimental data and other approaches. We reproduce the results of spin-flavor symmetry in the heavy quark limit.
