Pauli Interference in the 't Hooft Model: Heavy Quark Expansion and Quark-Hadron Duality
Ikaros Bigi, Nikolai Uraltsev

TL;DR
This paper investigates Pauli interference effects in heavy meson decays within the 't Hooft model, demonstrating the consistency of exclusive and inclusive approaches, and exploring duality violations and saturation phenomena.
Contribution
It provides an analytic summation of decay widths in the 't Hooft model, confirming the OPE approach and revealing new insights into duality violations and state saturation.
Findings
Exclusive decay widths match OPE results
Duality violations are suppressed near thresholds
Single final state can fully saturate OPE effects
Abstract
Pauli Interference in decays of heavy flavor mesons, a genuinely nonleptonic nonperturbative effect, is considered in the 't Hooft model. Analytic summation of the exclusive decay widths yields the same expression as obtained in the OPE-based approach. Threshold-related violations of local duality in PI are found to be suppressed. A novel case is identified where the OPE effect is completely saturated by a single final state.
