Neutrino oscillations and mixings with three flavors
Tommy Ohlsson, Hakan Snellman

TL;DR
This paper presents a comprehensive three-flavor neutrino oscillation analysis, providing best-fit parameters and excluding certain mass regions, enhancing understanding of neutrino mixing and mass differences.
Contribution
It offers the first global fit to all neutrino oscillation data within a three-flavor framework, excluding regions affected by the MSW effect for solar neutrinos.
Findings
Best-fit mixing angles: θ1 ≈ 28.9°, θ2 ≈ 4.2°, θ3 ≈ 45.0°
Mass-squared differences: Δm21² ≈ 2.87×10⁻⁴ eV², Δm32² ≈ 1.11 eV²
Indicates maximal mixing between the two lightest neutrino states
Abstract
Global fits to all data of candidates for neutrino oscillations are presented in the framework of a three-flavor model. The analysis excludes mass regions where the MSW effect is important for the solar neutrino problem. The best fit gives , and indicating essentially maximal mixing between the two lightest neutrino mass eigenstates.
