M. Ladisa, G. Nardulli, P. Santorelli

TL;DR
This paper calculates form factors for semileptonic and rare B meson decays into light pseudoscalar mesons using a QCD relativistic potential model, aligning with experimental data and theoretical constraints.
Contribution
It extends previous work on B decays by including light pseudoscalar mesons and evaluates form factors within a relativistic potential framework.
Findings
Results agree with available experimental data.
Form factors satisfy Callan-Treiman relation.
Consistent with heavy quark limit constraints.
Abstract
In the framework of a QCD relativistic potential model we evaluate the form factors describing the exclusive decays B => \pi l nu and B => K l+ l-. The present calculation extends a previous analysis of B meson decays into light vector mesons. We find results in agreement with the data, when available, and with the theoretical constraints imposed by the Callan-Treiman relation and the infinite heavy quark mass limit.
