TL;DR
This paper calculates various decay observables for B -> X_d l^+ l^- within a general two Higgs doublet model, highlighting the potential of CP asymmetry measurements to reveal new physics effects.
Contribution
It introduces a comprehensive analysis of B -> X_d l^+ l^- decay observables in a general two Higgs doublet model with a new phase, emphasizing CP violation as a probe for new physics.
Findings
CP violating asymmetry is a sensitive indicator of new physics.
Branching ratio and asymmetries are significantly affected by the model parameters.
The study provides predictions that can be tested in future experiments.
Abstract
The branching ratio, forward-backward asymmetry and CP violating asymmetry for (B -> X_d l^+ l^-) decay, in framework of the general two Higgs doublet model, with extra phase angle in the charged-Higgs-fermion coupling, are calculated. It is shown that studying the CP violating asymmetry is an efficient tool for establishing new physics.
