TL;DR
This paper discusses how a recent recalculation of the two-loop correction to the static quark-antiquark potential impacts the numerical estimates of the bottom quark mass, strong coupling constant, and CKM matrix element $|V_{cb}|$.
Contribution
It comments on the effects of a new two-loop correction value on previous estimates of fundamental parameters in heavy quark physics.
Findings
Recalculated two-loop correction differs from previous value.
The change affects estimates of $m_b$, $ ext{α}_s$, and $|V_{cb}|$.
Implications for precision determinations in heavy quark systems.
Abstract
The most recent recalculation of the two-loop correction to the static quark-antiquark potential gave the numerical value different from the previously known one. We comment on the effect this change produces on the numerical estimates of the bottom quark pole mass , the strong coupling constant and the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element obtained in our papers [1,2].
