Forward Jet Production at small x in Next-to-Leading Order QCD
G. Kramer, B. P\"otter

TL;DR
This paper calculates forward jet production at small x in NLO QCD, including photon contributions, and finds good agreement with recent experimental data from ZEUS and H1.
Contribution
It provides a next-to-leading order QCD calculation of forward jet production at small x, incorporating both direct and resolved photon effects for the first time.
Findings
Predictions match ZEUS and H1 data well.
Includes both direct and resolved photon contributions.
Enhances understanding of small x QCD dynamics.
Abstract
The production of forward jets of transverse energy E_T\simeq Q and large momentum fraction x_jet >> x is calculated in next-to-leading order including consistently direct and resolved virtual photon contributions. The predictions are compared to recent ZEUS and H1 data. Good agreement with the data is found.
