Heavy Quark Production at $e^+ e^-$ Colliders in Multijet Events and a New Method of Computing Helicity Amplitudes
Alessandro Ballestrero, Ezio Maina, Stefano Moretti (U. of Torino,, Italy)

TL;DR
This paper investigates heavy quark production in multijet events at electron-positron colliders, providing total production rates, comparing them to massless quark results, and introducing a new helicity amplitude computation method.
Contribution
It introduces a novel method for computing helicity amplitudes and applies it to heavy quark production in multijet events at $e^+e^-$ colliders.
Findings
Total production rates for heavy quarks are calculated and compared to massless quark results.
A new computational method for helicity amplitudes is proposed.
Results facilitate better understanding of heavy quark dynamics in collider experiments.
Abstract
Heavy quark production in multijet events at colliders is studied at tree level. Total production rates are given and compared with the corresponding results for massless quarks. A new method of computing helicity amplitudes is briefly sketched. Talk presented at the XXIXth Rencontres de Moriond, QCD and High Energy Hadronic Interactions, Meribel, France, March 19-26 1994.
