Wei Wei, Peng-Zhi Huang, Shi-Lin Zhu

TL;DR
This paper uses light cone QCD sum rules within heavy quark effective theory to analyze decay widths of $D_{sJ}(2317)$ and $D_{sJ}(2460)$, supporting their interpretation as conventional $c\bar{s}$ mesons.
Contribution
It derives decay widths using a novel application of light cone QCD sum rules and eta-pi0 mixing, providing theoretical support for their classification as ordinary $c\bar{s}$ mesons.
Findings
Calculated pionic decay widths match experimental data.
Decay patterns support $D_{sJ}(2317)$ and $D_{sJ}(2460)$ as $c\bar{s}$ mesons.
Consistent radiative decay widths reinforce the interpretation.
Abstract
With the identification of () as the (, ) doublet in the heavy quark effective field theory, we derive the light cone QCD sum rule for the coupling of eta meson with and . Through mixing we calculate their pionic decay widths, which are consistent with the experimental values (or upper limits). Combining the radiative decay widths derived by Colangelo, Fazio and Ozpineci in the same framework, we conclude that the decay patterns of strongly support their interpretation as ordinary mesons.
