A.D. Martin, V.A. Khoze, M.G. Ryskin

TL;DR
This paper reviews the potential of observing exclusive diffractive Higgs production at the LHC, emphasizing the role of the Sudakov form factor and other standard candle processes for accurate predictions.
Contribution
It highlights the significance of the Sudakov form factor in predicting diffractive Higgs production rates and discusses alternative processes for calibration.
Findings
Sudakov form factor is crucial for accurate event rate predictions
Exclusive diffractive Higgs production offers a promising detection channel
Standard candle processes can help validate theoretical models
Abstract
We review the advantages of observing exclusive diffractive Higgs production at the LHC. We note the importance of the Sudakov form factor in predicting the event rate. We discuss briefly other processes which may be used as `standard candles'.
