Orbifold Compactification and Related Phenomenology
Kyuwan Hwang, Jihn E. Kim

TL;DR
This paper explores orbifold compactification methods from GUT to string theory and their implications for low-energy particle physics phenomenology.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive overview of orbifold compactification techniques and their applications in connecting high-energy theories to observable physics.
Findings
Orbifold compactification bridges GUT and string theories.
Applications to low-energy phenomenology are discussed.
Frameworks for model building are outlined.
Abstract
In this lecture, starting with GUT we go through the field theoretic and stringy orbifold compactification of extra dimensions toward their application to low energy particle physics.
