The colored flux tube
Vladimir Dzhunushaliev

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates the existence of a flux tube solution in SU(2) Yang-Mills-Higgs theory with broken gauge symmetry, featuring a color longitudinal electric field, and discusses the origin of gauge symmetry breaking.
Contribution
It introduces a flux tube solution with a color electric field in a broken SU(2) gauge theory, highlighting a novel configuration in gauge field solutions.
Findings
Flux tube solution with color electric field found
Gauge symmetry breaking origin discussed
Implications for confinement mechanisms
Abstract
It is shown that in the SU(2) Yang - Mills - Higgs theory with broken gauge symmetry a flux tube solution filled with a color longitudinal electric field exists. The origin of the gauge symmetry breakdown for this case is discussed.
