Mystery of Vacuum Energy or Rise and Fall of Cosmological Constant
A.D. Dolgov

TL;DR
This paper explores the cosmological constant problem, focusing on the fine-tuned cancellation of vacuum energy contributions and the unexpected match between vacuum energy density and current cosmological density.
Contribution
It discusses the dual aspects of the cosmological constant problem, highlighting the fine-tuning and the observed numerical coincidence.
Findings
Vacuum energy contributions are finely canceled with extraordinary precision.
The vacuum energy density surprisingly matches the current cosmological energy density.
The paper emphasizes the unresolved nature of these cosmological constant issues.
Abstract
Two sides of cosmological constant problem are discussed: a mysterious compensation of all contributions to vacuum energy with the accuracy of 100-50 orders of magnitude and a surprising equality of a constant vacuum energy density to the present-day value of time dependent cosmological energy density.
