S.R. Slabospitsky (IHEP, Protvino, Russia)

TL;DR
This paper investigates the CMS detector's potential to study s-channel charged Higgs boson production through light quark annihilation, focusing on specific mass and parameter ranges, and proposes a method to determine the Higgs mass and tanβ.
Contribution
It introduces a parameterization of key distributions to accurately determine the charged Higgs mass and tanβ in CMS data analysis.
Findings
Proposed a new parameterization for M_top(j, ETM) distributions.
Demonstrated the method's effectiveness for Higgs mass and tanβ determination.
Focused on large tanβ and light charged Higgs mass ranges.
Abstract
CMS potential for study of the s-channel -boson production via light quark annihilation is investigated for large values of () and relatively light charge Higgs boson ( GeV). An appropriate parameterisation for -distributions of the signal and background events is proposed, which provides the determination of the charged Higgs mass and parameter.
