M. Penttinen, M.V. Polyakov, A.G.Shuvaev, M. Strikman

TL;DR
This paper calculates the DVCS amplitude within the parton model, revealing dependence on new skewed parton distributions that ensure the amplitude's explicit transversality at order 1/Q.
Contribution
It introduces the role of new skewed parton distributions in DVCS amplitude calculations, highlighting their impact on the amplitude's properties.
Findings
DVCS amplitude depends on new skewed parton distributions.
The amplitude is explicitly transverse at order 1/Q.
New contributions modify the understanding of DVCS in the parton model.
Abstract
We compute amplitude of deeply virtual Compton scattering in the parton model. We found that the amplitude up to the accuracy O(1/Q) depends on new skewed parton distributions (SPD's). These additional contributions make the DVCS amplitude explicitly transverse.
