## TL;DR

This paper refines the calculation of the eta-prime meson mass using staggered fermions and smeared operators across various lattice configurations, comparing results with different chiral perturbation theories.

## Contribution

It introduces a refined method for eta-prime mass calculation employing staggered fermions and smeared operators, analyzing multiple quark flavor scenarios.

## Key findings

- Consistent eta-prime mass results across quenched and dynamical configurations.
- Comparison with chiral perturbation theory predictions.
- Insights into the effects of smearing and staggered fermions on meson mass calculations.

## Abstract

We present a refined calculation of the eta-prime mass using staggered fermions and Wuppertal smeared operators. We use quenched and dynamical configurations of size 16^3x32 with Nf=0, Nf=2 and Nf=4, and compare our results with the expected forms from quenched, partially quenched and unquenched chiral perturbation thoery.
