## TL;DR

This paper reports preliminary lattice QCD calculations of low moments of nucleon structure functions and the nucleon tensor charge, comparing different source smearing techniques.

## Contribution

It introduces a lattice QCD approach to compute nucleon structure function moments and the tensor charge, with preliminary results and source smearing comparisons.

## Key findings

- Comparison of smeared nucleon sources
- Preliminary tensor charge calculations
- Results at $eta=6.2$ on a $24^3\times32$ lattice

## Abstract

Preliminary results are presented in our program to calculate low moments of structure functions for the proton and neutron on a $24^3\times32$ lattice at $\beta=6.2$. A comparison is made for a variety of smeared nucleon sources and preliminary results for the calculation of the nucleon tensor charge are presented.
