## TL;DR

This paper compares two definitions of connected correlation functions in fluctuating geometries, presenting Monte Carlo simulation results for 4D dynamical triangulation and comparing them with exact branched polymer model calculations.

## Contribution

It introduces a comparison between correlation function definitions in fluctuating geometries and provides simulation and exact model results.

## Key findings

- Monte Carlo results for 4D dynamical triangulation in the elongated phase.
- Exact correlation functions in the branched polymer model.
- Insights into the behavior of correlations in fluctuating geometries.

## Abstract

We compare two definitions of connected correlation functions in fluctuating geometries. We show results of the MC simulations for 4D dynamical triangulation in the elongated phase and compare them with the exact calculations of correlation functions in the branched polymer model.
