## TL;DR

This paper introduces a consistent way to define the topological charge in SU(2) gauge theory using renormalization group principles and reports measurements of topological susceptibility at various temperatures.

## Contribution

It provides a theoretically sound definition of topological charge and presents new measurements of topological susceptibility in SU(2) gauge theory.

## Key findings

- Topological susceptibility measured at zero temperature.
- Topological susceptibility measured at finite temperature.
- A new, consistent definition of topological charge operator.

## Abstract

We present a theoretically consistent definition of the topological charge operator based on renormalization group arguments. Results of the measurement of the topological susceptibility at zero and finite temperature for SU(2) gauge theory are presented.
