## TL;DR

This paper non-perturbatively determines the beta-function for different lattice types using lattice sum rules and investigates the properties of excited gluonic states through color field distributions.

## Contribution

It introduces a non-perturbative method to compute beta-functions and explores excited gluonic states in lattice gauge theories.

## Key findings

- Beta-functions computed non-perturbatively for symmetric and asymmetric lattices.
- Color field distributions characterized in excited gluonic states.
- Method enhances understanding of non-perturbative QCD dynamics.

## Abstract

We use lattice sum rules for the static quark potential to determine the beta-function for symmetric and asymmetric lattices non-perturbatively. We also study the colour field distributions in excited gluonic states.
