## TL;DR

This paper demonstrates that the 4D dynamical triangulation model of Euclidean quantum gravity can exhibit gravitational binding, evidenced by positive binding energy between test particles, indicating gravitational attraction within the model.

## Contribution

It provides the first evidence of gravitational binding in the 4D dynamical triangulation approach to quantum gravity.

## Key findings

- Test particles show positive binding energy.
- The model can represent gravitational attraction.
- Supports the viability of 4D dynamical triangulation for quantum gravity studies.

## Abstract

In the dynamical triangulation model of four dimensional euclidean quantum gravity we investigate gravitational binding. Two scalar test particles (quenched approximation) have a positive binding energy, thereby showing that the model can represent gravitational attraction.
