S. G\"usken, K. Schilling, G. Siegert

TL;DR
This paper investigates semileptonic decays of heavy mesons, focusing on form factor uncertainties, quark mass dependence, and testing a current renormalization scheme with promising results.
Contribution
It provides new insights into form factor uncertainties, quark mass effects, and validates a non-perturbative renormalization scheme for vector currents in meson decays.
Findings
Form factor uncertainties are characterized.
Heavy quark mass dependence is analyzed.
The LMK renormalization scheme shows remarkable agreement.
Abstract
We report results of our ongoing investigation concerning semileptonic decays of heavy pseudoscalar mesons into pseudoscalar and vector mesons. Particular attention is paid to uncertainties in the and the heavy quark mass dependence of formfactors. Moreover we present a non-perturbative test to the LMK current renormalization scheme for vector current transition matrix elements and find remarkable agreement.
