TL;DR
This paper investigates the critical behavior of the lattice Schwinger model with Wilson fermions using finite size scaling and Lee-Yang zeros, revealing a continuous phase transition ending at a specific parameter value.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of the critical line and phase transition nature in the lattice Schwinger model with Wilson fermions, using the MFA approach and finite size scaling.
Findings
Critical line ends at κ=0.25 at large β
Evidence for a continuous phase transition
Verification of hyperscaling relation
Abstract
We present a detailed analysis, in the framework of the MFA approach, of the critical behaviour of the lattice Schwinger model with Wilson fermions on lattices up to , through the study of the Lee-Yang zeros and the specific heat. We find compelling evidence for a critical line ending at at large . Finite size scaling analysis on lattices and indicates a continuous transition. The hyperscaling relation is verified in the explored region.
