On the Structure of the Yang-Mills Vacuum
G. Schierholz

TL;DR
This paper explores the microscopic structure of the Yang-Mills vacuum, focusing on color confinement, the role of magnetic monopoles as dyons, and the significance of instantons in the non-perturbative regime.
Contribution
It provides a microscopic perspective on color confinement, emphasizing the role of dyons and instantons in the Yang-Mills vacuum structure.
Findings
Color magnetic monopoles are identified as dyons.
Instantons play a crucial role in the confinement mechanism.
The microscopic test of confinement is discussed.
Abstract
In this talk I will discuss the current picture of color confinement. In particular, I will show how it can be tested microscopically. It is stressed that the color magnetic monopoles in this picture are dyons. Furthermore, the role of instantons is illuminated.
