Contribution
It provides updated lattice calculation results on QCD thermodynamics, chiral transition, and hadronic properties near the critical temperature, advancing quantitative understanding.
Findings
Equation of state consistent with previous results
Chiral transition observed near critical temperature
Hadronic properties indicate chiral symmetry restoration
Abstract
We will discuss here some of the recent results obtained from lattice simulations of QCD at non-zero temperature. Such calculations aim at a quantitative understanding of the thermodynamics of strongly interacting matter in equilibrium. We concentrate on a discussion of the equation of state, the chiral transition in two-flavour QCD and hadronic properties related to chiral symmetry restoration in the vicinity of .
