QCD Thermodynamics at $N_t=8$ and 12
the HEMCGC, MILC Collaborations

TL;DR
This study investigates high temperature QCD using lattice simulations at finer lattice spacings ($N_t=8$ and 12), analyzing the crossover temperature, chiral order parameter, and baryon number susceptibility to improve understanding of QCD thermodynamics.
Contribution
It provides new lattice QCD results at finer lattice spacings ($N_t=8$ and 12), extending previous studies and confirming the consistency of the crossover temperature.
Findings
Crossover temperature consistent with coarser lattices
Chiral order parameter behavior analyzed
Baryon number susceptibility results presented
Abstract
We present results from studies of high temperature QCD with two flavors of Kogut-Susskind quarks on lattices at a quark mass of and on lattices at quark masses and 0.016. The value of the crossover temperature is consistent with that obtained on coarser lattices and/or at larger quark masses. Results are presented for the chiral order parameter and for the baryon number susceptibility.
