J. Sexton, A. Vaccarino, D. Weingarten

TL;DR
This paper calculates the decay coupling constant of the lightest scalar glueball into pseudoscalar meson pairs using lattice QCD simulations, providing insights into glueball decay mechanisms.
Contribution
It presents a lattice QCD computation of the scalar glueball decay coupling, a novel quantitative estimate in the valence approximation.
Findings
Coupling constant values for scalar glueball decay obtained.
Decay coupling varies with pseudoscalar meson mass.
Results contribute to understanding glueball decay processes.
Abstract
We evaluate the coupling constant for the lightest scalar glueball to decay to pseudoscalar meson pairs. The calculation is done in the valence approximation on a lattice at for two different values of pseudoscalar meson mass.
