Paolo Cea, Leonardo Cosmai (Dipartimento di Fisica dell'Universita`, di Bari, INFN Sezione di Bari)

TL;DR
This paper investigates the behavior of color fields in SU(2) lattice gauge theory, providing evidence of the dual Meissner effect and establishing a relation between penetration length and string tension.
Contribution
It introduces a simple relation between the penetration length and the string tension in SU(2) lattice gauge theory, supported by lattice simulations.
Findings
Evidence of dual Meissner effect in SU(2) gauge theory
Established a relation between penetration length and string tension
Analyzed color field distributions around static quark-antiquark pairs
Abstract
We study the distribution of the color fields due to a static quark-antiquark pair in SU(2) lattice gauge theory. We find evidence of dual Meissner effect. We put out a simple relation between the penetration length and the string tension.
